General Submission Guidelines
All Queries - Please send a brief synopsis of the work (art/writing) you would like us to consider, including a brief bio of the author/artist and how they can be reached. Always send a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) so we can contact you. All submissions should be presented in a professional manner. Electronic submissions sometimes lose formatting.
A semi-annual publication featuring outstanding voices in literature and innovative visual artists. Founded by former students of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, The University of Iowa, and The School at the Art Institute, Chicago.
The NorthernPros editorial staff accepts manuscripts from previously published and unpublished authors for the purpose of contractual editing of manuscripts and screenplays. Though we do not like to limit ourselves, we feel our expertise lie in fiction and nonfiction; essay; memoir; poetry; screenplay; and the novel. Feel free to contact the staff if your manuscript falls outside these areas. Each member of our staff reserves the right to accept or refuse work independently.
NorthernPros Creations launched its film department in 2006. We accept any completed screenplay for expert analysis and/or the creation of selling pages. We are highly connected in the film industry and are always interested in making new connections.
NorthernPros holds an occasional writing contest. Winners of these contests are typically published in Cadillac Cicatrix and/or online at either of our websites.
