About Us

NorthernPros Creations was founded with one objective: feed good writing to hungry readers.

Originally a small publishing effort in Upstate New York, NorthernPros became involved in book binding and restoration very early on and proceeded into the literary arts by publishing several limited edition chapbooks between 1995 and 2002.

Within the first few years of its inception, NorthernPros had developed intricate associations in the book arts and literary communities in the United States and Europe. By 2002, NorthernPros.com was launched as an all-access resource for writers around the world. Having established itself as a source of valuable information, NorthernPros began publishing authors on the Internet in 2003.

In 2004, NorthernPros began its Editorial Service with the intention of helping writers perfect their writing craft. Because of our vast range of expertise, NorthernPros Editors address all areas of manuscript and screenplay development, creative and professional.

NorthernPros now publishes the occasional chapbook from a featured artist and writers with outstanding voices. A semi-annual publication, Cadillac Cicatrix - founded by students of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics , at Naropa University - offers a more frequent literary effort, publishing poetry, fiction, articles, interviews, and art.

In 2006, we again moved into another stage of our development by creating a film department. The target date for implementation of screenwriting contests and/or other film productions under the NorthernPros banner is still a bit off in the future. However, we do expect to make this an essential part of our efforts to build a crucial community resource.

The end goal for NorthernPros is and always will be to feed good writing to a hungry community. Using all means necessary, we will continue to present writers and artists whose work we deem significant and integral to the advancement of human consciousness.
